Kabinet created for ARCADIS Belgium a system of internal communication (intranet). The application was customized to the needs of the company. It contains a handle to employees, can send messages and store documents for common use, a forum for internal discussion and group affiliation ( community).
The system is secure and access is based on the username and password.
European Commercial Network is an application designed for ARCADIS International that allows centralization projects carried out in different countries. All subsidiaries of the company have access to application and have a platform to gather and use information in documents and projects.
Each document has a status. It can be public or restricted to certain users. The system allows a series of operations such as filtering, search, deletions and updates of documents, etc..
An important feature is the ability to export information and to make templates for PowerPoint, Word and PDF (with predefined layouts). Exports are customized and contain relevant information requested by the user.
By using the application, an increased transparency in the company and a higher degree of information communication between branches was noticed.
