Although it is a document management system based on the browser, the main function of Keeper - Document Management is the enterprise level content management. After installing it on a server, each authorized user interacts with the application using a standard web browser, and it can be accessed from any worldwide location, if any Internet connection. By this you can avoid efforts with the application implementation and staff training. The system is easy to use by any person, without requiring specialized knowledge in the field.

Any content from the ECM’ SQL server can be found by looking after properties in any text document available. Information may be verified, modified and saved back (system check-in and check-out), thus eliminating the possibility of conflicts between users of the same document. Keeper - Document Management keeps records for every content modification and a complete history of changes is accessible at any time.

Keeper - Document Management allows each company to customize their system depending on their documents and information flow. For example, a custom flow can be created between human resources, financial and technical departments regarding the recruitment process: selection (human resources), validation based on technical skills (technical) and personal (human resources), interview (HR + manager), clearance employment (financial), etc.

You are advantaged by the possibility of organizing, with the help of workflows, a task management system customized for each activity. Basically, a flow is defined and tasks are automatically created and distributed to those responsible (independently configurable for each type of task).

Each company has its own processes and steps, which can be configured according to situation. Execution process is managed and preserved by the system, so you can always see the document history: tasks, ways to solve them, users, etc.. Moreover, your own types of documents can be defined. A type of document is described by:

  • the nature of documents (electronic, notes, reference to a document).
  • a metadata scheme (attributes customized client attached documents).
  • a scheme states that a document can pass (which may or may not connected to the workflow).
